Our annual fundraiser Jazz night at the Guildhall took place Friday 26th of June in some very warm sunshine
The Chris Ingram Trio accompanied by Joanna Eden as vocalist entertained the guests with music.
There was some competitive bidding for the Auction prizes – some lovely paintings, bottles of whisky and port,
The drinks reception, sponsored by Bedford Estate Agents took place in the courtyard garden, still a balmy 30c at the time, in the cooler surrounding of the Guildhall everyone enjoyed a nice supper and some drinks whilst listening to some wonderful jazz music.
Thanks to our other sponsors Rees Pryer Architects, Ashtons Legal, Bluesys IT Services and Whitings Chartered Accountants, Cook , local artists who donated some beautiful art and turned wooden bowl, Bury Society for donating a guided tour of Bury St Edmunds and Maison Bleu, Raffle prizes were kindly donated by: COOK, Brook Taverner, ANNA, Theatre Royal, Nicola Sexton, The Irving Stage Company, Copeland Interiors, Waterstones, Sahara and various from friends and supporters of CAWS.
All these sponsors and donations making this event possible. Final amount raised still has to be verified but looks to be in excess of £3000
