Mary Porch joined the board of Trustees in 2016. She became Chair in 2021 having previously been Vice Chair. She is also a member of the PR and fundraising sub-committee and brings to the role a breadth of experience in marketing and PR coupled with sound commercial skills. Mary has lived in East Anglia for many years and moved to Bury St Edmunds from Norfolk in 2015. She has over 30 years’ experience in marketing and business development, predominantly in the professional services sector and is now working on a freelance basis. Mary tries to work with and benefit the not for profit sector generally in the course of her business development roles where possible, believing in the importance of organisations making a positive contribution to the communities in which they are based. She has, in no particular order, four daughters, a grandson, a granddaughter, a broad range of interests and a strong belief in access to justice for all.
