It was with immense sadness that we learned of the untimely death on 27 February of our friend, passionate supporter, former trustee and volunteer, Michael Simpkin.
Michael was a tireless advocate of Citizens Advice West Suffolk. He served a full 12 year term as a trustee and, after stepping down in 2023, continued to support our fundraising events in his home town of Haverhill. Most recently he was key to the success of our Race Night fundraiser in November 2024 where he had sourced the majority of the raffle prizes and also sold the tickets for the event as well as playing an active part on the night.
Michael was a regular visitor, and supplier of smiles and biscuits, especially to the Haverhill Citizens Advice office. He will be much missed and we send our heartfelt condolences to his family.
