At the end of September Citizens Advice West Suffolk ran another of their highly popular Racenights at The Haverhill Golf Club in Haverhill.
The aim of the event was to raise the awareness of Citizens Advice and the part it plays in supporting the community in the town, especially during these difficult times as well as raising money to support the service.
The event was a great success with a wide range of sponsors listed below as well as other racegoers, including representatives from the local council and members of the public as well as volunteers from our local office. The raffle prizes were donated by a range of local retailers including Hughes Electricals, Boots, Tesco, Chapmans, Anatolia Restaurant, Cineworld, Abbeycroft Leisure, Jamie’s Meats and Ronnie’s Bakery with a very welcome drink from The Epicentre.
Once again, Peasgood and Skeates won the winners’ trophy after a frenzied evening of racing, undeterred by the wet weather, but safe and warm in the restaurant at the Club.
