From the 22nd to the 26th January, throughout the country, focus will be given to helping people to reduce their energy bills.
Here in Suffolk West, Citizens Advice will be in Bury St Edmunds Tesco on Wednesday 24th and Haverhill Tesco on Friday 26th from 10am to 2pm talking about energy costs and the help available, as well as offering information and energy switching appointments at our Bury St Edmunds offices.
Too many people, often the elderly and people on low incomes, are losing out because they don’t switch energy suppliers, meaning the most vulnerable who can least afford it are often paying far more than they need to on default tariffs.
