Our client was at a loss with £48K of debt due to a business failure and the possibility of making herself ill working so many hours after taking on numerous jobs with little or no effect on her debts. She was working so many jobs she had a time table of where to be and when and was physically exhausted. Her husband had full time work and was contractually prevented from taking out any further work to help with the debts. We arranged an appointment with an IVA specialist who has successfully arranged an IVA with a regular monthly repayment without the need to work so many extra jobs. The client and her husband will be debt free in 6 years and the strain on their marriage and wellbeing has lessened.
