In October Citizens Advice ran a Ceilidh at St Edmunds Catholic Church in Westgate Street. The event was a great success, The Invisible Navvies of Utopia played a wonderful set of Irish music and worked the audience hard through dance after dance. Some of the audience came from local dance interest groups, others just danced for the sheer fun of it. In addition to the music and dancing, there was plenty to eat and drink and enjoy the setting of the crypt at St Edmunds. The event was organised to raise the profile of Citizens Advice and the work we do as well as raise a funds to help future development in our organisation. We were also pleased to receive support once again from Barclays Bank in the running of this the event. (Photos attached to this mail).
